Henry Paton born 1851 Clackmannanshire county Scotland - father John Paton & mother Jane Gibson.
In 1874 Henry lived Glasgow and entered the Freemason Lodge St Andrews No 465.
In 1878/9 emigrated to New Zealand, married 1880, 6 children.
Henry (Harry), Edward John, Robert James, Grace Gibson, Mary (Minnie) & Elsie.
His son Henry (Harry) 1907 & 1910 was an All Black.
Grand-daughter Eris Paton in 1954 toured the UK with the New Zealand Womens Cricket team.
While there she met some Paton family members and others. Places mentioned where Folkestone Kent, Irvine, Eccles & Shetland Islands.
