Hi I have been searching my  partners family tree for some time but have had  a long break. I would be grateful if anyone has any information on the following names.

ROBERT STEWART  born 1820 ish  wife JANE KINNOCH   known confirmed children are PETER STEWART born 1863 perth and WILLIAM STEWART born 1865 perth both illegitimate . I know they moved to Dundee . Peter  married HELEN GILBERT MCKENZIE in Dundee in 1884 and they had 12 children

JANE, MARGARET MILL, JESSIE CADDEN, MARY HANDY, CATHERINE MCKENZIE, PETER,  DAVINA MILLAR, JAMES MCKENZIE,ELLEN STEWART, ROBERT KINNOCH, AGNES SHANNON CULLEY, ELIZABETH FYFFE MCKENZIE.

Names i am searching are
PERTH/DUNDEE -- STEWART- MCKENZIE-KINNOCH-FENTON-
GLASGOW-- ROBERTSON -YOUNG- WEIR

It seems to have been common to have used grandparents surnames as middle names for the children.

hi i am researching the Robertson name in Glasgow and Logie  in Perth, my line goes back to John Robertson(1780-1862) and elizabeth donaldson(1799-1878), then Alexander Robertson(1833-1918) and Helen Cropper(1838-1898)
