SPIVEY/TIDMARCH bmd & census lookups

I'm trying to track down an Eliza Tidmarsh who married James Spivey (possibly in Kent or London) in 1840s or 1850s - they had a daughter Ellen (or Eliza or Eva) Harvey Spivey b 1853 in Maidstone, Kent.  Can't find Eliza or James in any BMD or census records.  There may also be a connection (though I'd love to work out what!) with Kezia Tidmarsh b Tuffley Gloucestershire in 1808 who married Richard Spivey from my tree in Marylebone London in 1832.  Do let me know if you can help.

Hi Diane...Welcome to Rootschat  I did put a vague possability for the girl in 1871 census on the identical Kent post for this family. Couldnt see another likely and thought the name did look interesting

Perhaps if you could provide more info on the parents (Where and When Born etc) It may help someone find something on them.

Thanks to anyone who's been looking into this. 
Ellen or Eliza Harvey Spivey appears in the 1871, 1881, and 1891 censuses living with Richard Spivey and Kezia (nee Tidmarsh) in Marylebone and listed as either granddaughter or stepdaughter, b Maidstone, Kent.  She was born in Maidstone in Dec 1853 - name on b cert is Eva but Ellen on baptism in Marylebone in February the following year.  Birth cert gives parents as James Spivey and Eliza Tidmarsh.  I can't find any other reference to this James - Richard had a brother James and a nephew James, but neither of them were married to an Eliza.  I can't find the marriage either. There seems to have been a double inter-marriage between the Spiveys and the Tidmarshes, but I can't find any records to place James or Eliza. I'm also puzzled over the Harvey middle name - feel that must be a clue of some sort!  Any ideas gratefully received!

In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth.

As this is an old request you may well have made some progress by now but, if not, may I ask if you know what became of Eliza (dau of Richard & Keziah SPIVEY) ie. could she have been the mother of Eliza born 1853 and used her own surname as the surname of a supposed husband (perhaps even called HARVEY)?
