Hello! I need to find William Jones (possibly with the middle name of Anthony) aged about 28 at the time of the 1891 census and his wife Mary Jane (b. Cambridge/Slimbridge) aged about 24, I don't know if there would be any children with them on this census, as the only child I have so far is my great-grandfather William George Edward Jones and he wasn't born until 1893 in Llangrove. Any help appreciated.

Because this is a wee bit difficult with the surname Jones and no birthplace for William Senior have you found them on 1901 with your grandfather so we can get all details.
I have had a quick look on 1901 and can only spot a William Jones age 8 born Llangrove with parents William age 39 born Monmouth Wales and Jane Jones age 34 born Stonehoue Gloucestershire. Is this likely to be them? Lots of siblings. He is the only William Jones showing up with the birthplace of Llangrove

Tricia, yes I reckon that's them. When I looked myself I couldn't find them - fresh pair of eyes and all that! I can easily see how his wife would show as Jane instead of Mary Jane and also Stonehouse as place of birth instead of Slimbridge. My great-grandfather was born William George Edward Jones 24 May 1893 in Llangrove so would be about 8 years old on the 1901 census. Any more info you could give me from the 1901 census and the 1891 census would be greatly appreciated.
