Hello Rob
I searched Ickleford first and found the following STREETS. The 1841 does not give relationships or place of birth, just whether or not they were born in the county. Adult ages are often rounded to nearest 5.
HO107/445/7 Folio 5 Ickleford, Herts STREET Edward, 76, Higgler, Yes
Folio 6 Ickleford, Herts STREET William, 54? Gardener, Yes Sarah, 65, Yes
I found Jemima at Pirton
HO107/445/13 Folio 12 Pirton, Herts STREET Jemima, 30, Yes MILES Charlotte, 14, Yes MILES James, 11, Yes STREET William, 7, Yes STREET Sarah, 5, Yes

The Jemima Street you were looking for was born Jemima Miles. She had 2 illegitimate children, Charlotte and James, before marrying Richard Street. James was later known as James Street and is my direct ancestor. I have read that James' father was Edward Sheppard Jnr. but have not been able to find anything on him. Charlotte had a different father too! The reason the 1841 census does not list Richard Street as being in the house is that he had been convicted of stealing 15 dozen pigeons and was sent to Tasmania, where Jemima and the children later moved to in 1842. Does anyone know anything about an Edward Sheppard Jnr. who may have fathered James Miles (Street) baptized May 7, 1830 in Pirton?
Cheers Paul
