Payne family -Lydeard St. Lawrence

I am trying to find out about Francis Payne born 1845 I believe in Lydeard St. Lawrence.  He married Mary Ann Saunders in Cardiff in 1901, by which time they had 6 children and had obviously been together quite a while.  On their marriage certificate he was a Divorcee and she a Spinster.  I assume he had been married to A. N. Other during their years together.

I believe Mary Ann came from Catcot, but I'm not sure - would anyone have access to an 1851 census to see if they can find Francis.  His parents could be William and Mary, but not sure again, would love to find out more about him - he is by great-grandfather.
