Can anyone help me??

Rev John Hornblow Baptist Minister in Braintree from 1779-1816
 His Orbituary says he was born Halstead 1743 but an ESFH search says not. Nothing was found in registers of St Andrews Halstead, his parents being of the established church. He may have been born either before 1740 or after 1744, possibly Halstead. He married in London in 1775 and died in Braintree 1816.
