Sorry to say I've found absolutely nothing but I am in touch with the Argentinian branch of the Rayson clan. All I need now is to learn Spanish or should that be Portugese
We seem to be in a similar position. I too have made contact with the Argentina branch of my family. Luckily they speak English.
I know my family worked for the Central Argentine Railway. I have found out that the Society for Irish Latin American Studies www.irishargentine.org have a database of British & Irish employees of the Central Argentine Railway from 1870-1961. Unfortunately I have to join the society to get access. Once I have access, I will check for Rayson's and let you know what I find.

I am also searching for an ancestor who worked on the Argentinian railway - George Walter Austin born 28.06.1881 in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. He was killed working on the railway. I guess about 1920's. His wife was Alice nee White and they had a son Richard - they retuned to Grimsby, Lincs after his death. Does anyone have any information? I'm sure there would have been an obituary in the local Grimsby paper.
