Hi,
My relatives name was william Enoch Hiden (born 30th August 1876 in Staffs), although it sometimes appears as Hayden. He and his wife Marion, (nee spencer, born 29 Sept 1887 in staffs) left England in 1912. They lived and died in Nova Scotia but after they England I know nothing of them.

Hi there,
until about the 1940's or later (not sure when) citizens of Great Britian were not required to become naturalized citizens. Canada was still considered to part of the Commonwealth.
William Enoch Hyden served for Canada in WW1 - here is a link to his sign up papers

Hi
I don't know of any online site where you could look for their children BUT if you check out the Genealogical Association of Nova Scotia website you can email them and ask for the funeral home records for William Enoch - these records will list next of kin and should have a copy of the obit as well.

I'm not sure how it's done in UK but obits in Canada have the names of children listed in most cases so if you get it you'll have some luck.

Hi I am also looking for relatives wh o came from england to canada around 1911 and 1912. In 1911 my great grandfather JOHN BENJAMIN SELBY came to canada, he was born the 21 september 1884 in nottingham and his wife along with 3 children came to canada the following year, 1912. Lucy Darby b abt 1885, Doris selby, Mabel caroline selby b july 1907 and John cyril selby born june 29 1911 in loughborough leics. Can you help me with this information.
