1841 census lookup
« on: Saturday 23 April 05 12:59 BST (UK) »

Hi,
I asked a little while ago for information on a James Burney,
since then I think i have found his parents on the IGI.
They are John & Mary Burney they also had a daughter Hannah born 1822 and christened at St Bees. Could anyone please look in the 1841 census for me I think they would be between age 40 & 50 but not too sure.
              Thanks very much Patmel.

Hi Patmel,
The parish of St Bee's is quite large, I have looked in the town of St Bee's do you know any other town/area they could be in?

Hi Ange,
The only other area the family seem to be is Whitehaven.
I,m afraid being a southerner I don,t know the area very well.     Patmel
