Cummings/Cummins in Reading

Have tried before locating an Ann Cummins and her father William in Reading in the 1841 or 51 census, with no luck. Another birth certificate entry for one of ann's children gives her maiden name as Cummings.
She is shown as a 'minor' when married in 1853, s I guess was born between 1833 and 37.Her birthplace is consistently shown as Reading. Her father William is described as a 'shoemaker'
Any further leads welcome
