Get-togethers in Northumbria?

Do you lot ever have get-togethers in Northumbria?

I am busy planning my annual pilgrimage Up North and I always seem to miss the exciting things happening there by either arriving too late or leaving too early Roll Eyes

What kind of get together's are you looking for ? and  i will find out if anything is going on while you are up in Northumberland.

My ANDERSONs wandered around a bit. here's my direct line
Luke married Whickham DUR 1725
John married 1754 Newburn NBL
Joseph married Newburn NBL 1785
William born Hookergate but farmed Castle Hill farm DUR
Charles born 1830 Castle Hill died Wylam NBL 1901
Charles, only son died, no children
Hannah only surviving daughter  -  my direct ancestor

My Anderson lot were all shepherd's, they all seem to have lived in the Cheviot Hill's, Alwinton area's Grin

My ANDERSONs all tenant farmers, prob started out as ag labs? Associated with Ash Tree farm, Spen, DUR and Castle Hill and Ryton Grange farms in and near Ryton DUR. Also Black Callerton farm NBL

All very prolific, must be dozens of unknown rellies on Tyneside.

The Northumberland and Durham Family History Society also seem to meet quite regularly all over the North East. I don't know whet's coming up but the web site is:
