Well I took the plunge and did it. I put together a website and I just want to know what I can improve on. As this is my first try at doing this, I wonder if someone could take a look and give me the pros and cons. The address is as follows:

Thank you for the positive comments. Having never done this before, I had to learn how to write the code from scratch (with the help from the Ironspider website). Once I got the hang of it, it became rather fun.

I popped in to have a look. It was very pleasing on the eye and the clarity of expression was even better
It's a shame about your brick wall named Sophia.
I just tried a search of the IGI of anyone named Sophia born 1784+or-5 years. It revealed a few where no surname was given (presumably because the inputter could not read it) eg a Sophia born in Cudham Kent about 1786 and a Sophia Walter born 2 June 1783 baptised 9 July 1783 at Greenwich, Kent...Rainham isn't too far away...but maybe you know about her already

With all my research so far, there are only 3 males that can carry the surname forward.
