Hi, i have a photocopied page from the Cheltenham Chronicle And Gloucestershire Echo regarding my Grandads Brothers in the War. On the same page there is a couple of write ups about whats been left in peoples Wills. The Date of the page is : 17th June 1944.
Capt. John Lock Lock, Royal Welch Fusiliers, retired, of St James' Villa, Cheltenham, who died on January 20th aged 81. Left money to his Cousin Cyril M Luck, Rosamund Strong and Gladys Luck.
Lady Edith Alice Hughes, of Bryn Pader, Pirton Lane, Churchdown, late of Hillside, Wimbledon, S.W, who died on December 2nd, Widow of Sir Thomas Raffles Hughes, KC, and Daughter of the late George Wigg, of Liverpool. Left money to her Daughter Margaret W Hughes, of the same address and George E Hughes, of Gay-street, Bath, Solicitor.
Mrs Mary Ellen Dorrington of Wallsworth Hall, near Gloucester, who died November 25th, Widow of James Dorrington. Probate has been granted to Thomas M Young, of Brampton Lodge, Withington, Manchester.
