Help!! I can't attach an image

This may seem a very basic question, and I don't consider myself a Luddite, but how does one attach an image?  I've tried attaching one to this message, and the filename shows up next to "Attach", but when I post the message it's not there!

What am I doing wrong? Sad

i was looking for the basic "how to" and couldnt find a simple answer to help you. By the time this is posted i expect sks has posted the answer already
sometimes it doesnt automatically attach, i had some probs last week.keep trying Roll Eyes

Oh and did you preview the message before posting it? (I've a feeling it forgets to attatch an image if you "preview" then "post" without re-entering the location of the image).

Just a note on this also for future reference if you have your images on a website like geocities and it doesn't show up some of these free type websites block images from being displayed off their own website. At present I don't know of a site that allows you to link to images from another site except maybe http://www.homestead.com I say maybe cause they have been changing their policies. I just happen to be a member from way back so I am protected but unsure on new accounts how it works.
