Please would some kind person do me a look up for a Francis Hartshorn age about 9 in the 1861 census may be in Brossley much appreciated Thank you.    gladys1

I have found two:

Francis Hartshorne christened 24 March 1844 Broseley, Shropshire (St Leonard Collection)
Father:  Benjamin Hartshorne
Mother:  Mary

Francis Hartshorne christened 16 June 1844 Broseley, Shropshire (St Leonard Collection)
Father:  Francis Hartshorne
Mother:  Ann

The dates are not quite as you quoted, but could well be the same family - I hope so.
