my gg/f was donald macleod of kendram i saw a request by anabana for information and i already posted some details but it was removed to beginers for some reason .i have a family tree made by an australian relative which would be of interest to you,i hope you find this notice.
My gggrandfather was Donald MacLeod from Kendram, Skye. He left Scotland with his four sons: Malcolm, Roderick, Alecander and Murdoch, in 1803 and settled on Prince Edward Island. One of his sons remained on the croft and some of his descendants still live in Skye.
In the book; "A Fine Class Of Emigrants", Donald's name is mentioned in a letter to Lord MacDonald; as having sold his stock and bought land in America.
I have a some of data on the Skye family but am in Florida for the Winter so its not close at hand.
