Can anyone out there help me - I am a desperate woman!!
I am trying to trace the birth of my GGG Grandmother HONORA HARFORD.
I have her marriage certificate showing her as aged 21 in 1874 and her death certificate showing age 41 in 1894 so would assume her birth year is 1852/3. She married in Newport, Southampton and died in Margate, Kent.
I have found her on a census showing her birth place as Southampton/Isle of Wight but cannot find her birth anywhere.
I beleive her father was John Harford, born Galway, Ireland, 1821 and her mother Ann, born Leicester, 1827.
Any information on the HARFORD family and HONORA in particular gratefully received.
