Can anyone please help.

I'm having difficulty with this part of my family tree.  I can't get any further until I find the parents of James and Mary Cry

James Bowman c1852, Dundee or Forfar and Mary Smollet, c1852, Dundee or Forfar. Their marriage date is 02/01/1872, Murroes, Angus, Scotland.
2 sons:
David Bowman, 16/06/1872   Murroes, Angus, Scotland
Alexander Smollet Bowman, High Church, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland
