You've got all the information and you know that what you have is correct, but you're missing that tiny, tiny piece of evidence you need to link them up for sure?

Like where you have a married couple you suspect of being the parents of someone you have (Mr. Unlinkable). You know their names, dobs, places of birth and even the names of some of their children (all dates of which would correlate with Mr. Unlinkable's birth), but nothing to link them to Mr. U! Apart from the fact that he is the only child that shares the father's first name.

Aaaaaargh!

Oh well, much fun is had though!

I know exactly what you mean!! I have a mysterious George Grenville born 1827 Brighton, who is living with John and Sarah Ann Hiscock in London, as their uncle - can I find out how they are related?!! A dead-end connetion I have spent about four months trying to solve!!
