William Robb and wife Jean Stephen had the following children :

13/10/1738 - Elizabeth

23/07/1740 - Alexander, who married Isobel Maitland @ Premnay in 1767. Their subsequent children : Jean (1769) + Isobel (1772) + Janet (1773) + Elizabeth (1776)

08/05/1743 - William

27/11/1748 - John

18/04/1754 - Samuel

There were other Robb families, same time(ish), same place :

Alexander Robb/Jean Anderson :
Margaret (1767) + Alexander (1769)

Alexander Robb/Jean Patterson :
Mary (1771) + William (1773) + Sarah (1775) + Helen (1778) + Jean (1780) + Anne (1782) + Susan (1784) + Alexander (1787)

William Robb/Elizabeth Cobban :
John (1782) + William (1783) + Elizabeth (1785) + Jean (1787) + Alexander (1790) + Thomas (1795) + David (1801)

As there do not seem to be any births @ Premnay prior to 1738, I am assuming - dangerous I know - the families migrated to Premnay, but from where ?

Can anyone relate ?
