Hi all
I have put the idea of using Frontpage on the back burner for the moment and have used RootsMagic to create my tree.  Can't believe how easy that was!!!
Now comes the difficult bit - Rootsmagic have a button saying 'How to upload your tree' so far so good!! Unfortunately all it tells you is that it can't  really tell you!
Anyone out there who can explain to a 'bear of very little brain'- very simply -  what I do now?

You need a program called an FTP program (File Transfer Protocol) which will trasnfer your files to your webspace.

There are several which are available for free try http://www.tucows.com/networkadministration_ftp_default.html which has several listed

http://www.shotover.clara.net/webweave/upload.htm has a good guide on using one of these "Coffee cup" although the basic instructions are pretty general and can be applied to any of the programs.

Many thanks I will have a go! I'm always anxious about doing anything new in case I loose everything - put that down to past experience!! However I have saved it all so here goes!
