Hi Spansoft I downloaded the gedcom of the Passmore family tree from Ancestry World Tree Project, after a bit of Googling, so i think I'm OK for Williamina. I see her will is available for viewing at Scotlandspeople (under William Eugenia Cairns).

Hi Hillwalker,
No problem - the Passmore copy is quite old though - I'm not sure if I've made any changes since then.
I think it must be Williamina's husband William Drummond's will - which I do have a copy of.

I found an Andrew Cairns married a Mary Breingan in Tillicoultry in 1820 Her name is spelt Breignan in the births. She was born 10th July 1790 at Tillicoultry. Could be a possibility.

Hi Amanda,
If you get back to the library, I am trying to find the death date of WILLIAM SNADDON b. abt. 1769 in Alloa. He was married to ANN HUNTER and their last child was born in 1804, so death after that. Vague, I know, but I can't seem to find more.
Also,
JOHN HUNTER b. Jan. 24, 1774, Clackmannan married to MARY ALLAN b. Apr. 28, 1771. Last child was born 1806.
Have a great day!

Hi Snowwhite. I notice one of your "families" is Chalmers of Stirlingshire. Do you have info on John Hall married to Jane Chalmers b. abt 1828(Stirlingshire)? In the 1861 census they were residing at 6 High St, Clackmannan (children Elizabeth, John, Jane, and Francis). Occupation: coal miner.

Hello,
I wonder if you can give me a few brief details about the location of Death Records pre-1855. Is there a specific e-mail address? Do they have a CD of them that I may be able to buy?
Best Wishes,
Tom.
