i have several names ( as my husband and children will testify -ha ha!!!!) do i enter them one at a time or is the `max 25 characters`just for the test purposes?

OK entered a surname and added a comment.
Tried to see if the surname had been added to my profile but when I selected the relevant button - it didnt display any info and just reverted back to the original screen with blank fields.

No problems entering my surnames (or viewing them). Just one comment/question: as the "search" facility appears to be case-sensitive, how should surnames be entered? Will a search for "Jones" find "JONES"?

Some answers:
Editing - not do-able. Later I will either add an editing feature or a delete-option, so you can re-enter.
I'm still working on some upper-case / lower-case search problems
My suggestion is to enter names "normally" i.e. Jones and then remember to search for "Jones" (exact) or "J" (begins) and then twice, "J" and "j" (within)

Not sure what you mean, sheddyg. If you mean "You can only see this info on the "RootsChat Surname Interests Table", then YES, that's right !
