Desperate Searck Pettswood c1920

Please can anyone help me find

Violet Emily Heath b 18/11/1892   and her sister
Lilian Mary Heath b 28/12/1895

they are on the 1901 Census as living at 1 Marshall Place, Reading, and stories in the family suggest that they went to the Petswood/Orpington/Bromley Ares, My Uncle tells me that Violet worked/lived in a pub in Pettswood.

this info is sort after from the girls Nephew who is in his 90th year

Any help however Little would be deeply appreciated

If it helps at all there was no settlement at Petts Wood before 1929 - no houses. It was a farming and forestry area. Housing  development began there in 1929. Bromley is another matter - it is an old town and so is Orpington. Petts Wood is between them but it is so relatively speaking obscure that it is most clearly the place you want. Cool
