Hiya Fencewolf

I thought I had found them in 1851 as the following

At 65 jack in the Hole, Church Griesley

Hannah b 1798 Newhall widow
Joseph b 1835 Church Griesley son Potter (oven boy)
Harriett b 1838 Church Griesley dau Potter figure maker
James b 1846 Church Griesley son

Piece 2011 Folio: 474 Page 14

Back to the drawing board  Grin

Have found the 1851 census for Bilston - yes that makes more sense!

Hi Willow

I had that down as speculation from marr index, but hadn't found the actual marr at St Peters. Now we need SA's death. Apr-Jun 1857? W'ton? and then marr of Harriet Harnold to Jas Meers. (Some chance)

Hi again Willow

IGI gives bap of Harriott Woodward as 12.8.1832 at Church Gresley, Derbs. Parents Richard and hannah, which fits.  Siblings Rebecca and Samuel also on the IGI.

Hiya Fencewolf

Thanx for that - for some reason Ancestry doesn't like me searching for the Simkiss lot - even the slightest variation on the name and it will not pull them up.  Sad
