Hi,
Could someone lookup Richard Banks for me. He is living in Kington and is aged 59. From other info: Parish: Kington, Piece:2492, Folio: 260a, District: Presteigne. He may have a son Richard William Banks (32) & a daughter Marianne Banks (22) living with him.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
Lynton

Bridge House is a large black and white timbered house, that has been moved from Bridge Street to Church Road by Richard W Banks I think.

James I think changed his name from Banks to Davies and lived at Lyonshall in Herefordshire.
What else do you need to know ?
The family are still in Kington and own Herget Croft Gardens - look at the website for details of the present family and house www.hergest.so.uk

James did change his name, in 1858, to inherit from his uncle James Davies. Any information on the Banks family would be useful. I've been in touch with the family at Hergest Croft and Mr Banks was kind enough to send me the book mentioned previously. I'm now trying to fill my family tree sideways as it were. I have the descendants of Richard William Banks, thanks to Mr Banks, and most of my own line. The ones i'm now trying to find are any descendants of William Laurence Banks, brother to James and Richard. I know he had a daughter, who had no children, and two sons. It is their descendants i'd like to find.
