HI Thanks for the response, please I would love to know more, my family there started with GEORGE n Harriet, they had 7 children, Harriet,George,Caroline,Herbert,Charles,Annie, and Emma..Annie being my G Grandmother.
Does these names mean anything to you at all..??
Look forward to hearing from you...Out of the children Harriet, and George were the only ones that stayed within Norwich area I believe..

Hi,
Well my Grandad was Donald Flatman born 1924 and grew up in the Costessy area.
Below are details of his Fathers side of the family
My Grandad;s Father was Jack Flatman as shown below:
John Flatman 30 Farm Labourer b. Costessey, Norfolk Ellen Flatman 34 b. Ashley, Norfolk Jack Flatman 9 b. Hellington, Norfolk
I've only started looking in to my Family tree so these are the only details I have at the moment about his Father and the Costessy area.

Hi,
Didn't know if you could find out any more about the Flatmans in the Costessy area.
I know my grandparents lived there.
I've now found out that my GGG Grandfather was born there - didn't know if there was any further info around that Flatman family in this area.... or how i'd go about finding it.

HI
I could never tie John /Ellen Flatman in with my line, looks like he was my g grans brother, as my g grans father was George and he was a carpenter ..to much of a coincidence if you ask me...Would like to know Johns Mothers name to tie it in 100%..All thsese years I never knew she had a bro John...OMG Im going to have to delve deeper ... As with the Jack Eastgate thats a family surname going back years..thats so gotta be linked.. Thank you..Just need his mothers name Georges Wife..I know it, but would like to know if its the same ..
