*** I somehow posted half a message without clicking "post" 
I am researching my FORBES family of Moy & Dalarossie, Inverness. Being an Australian I have limited knowledge of Scotland & would be very appreciative of any information on Moy & Dalarossie.
I have a plasterer, named John FORBES who married Katherine McPHERSON. Their 9 children included: Donald (1803), Mary (1806), Graccie (1807), JOhn (1812), Lachlan (1818), Katherine (1821), Eliza (1823), Marjory (1827) & Alexina (1830 .... my line).
Alexina, her husband (George MURDOCH) & children moved to Australia in 1856 & settled in the Newcastle area of NSW.
I would love to hear from others researching this family or those with knowledge or an interest in Moy & Dalarossie, Inverness.

I do not know of your family, however I was only up in Moy a few weekends ago researching where my father's family lived. It is quite barren and the houses are few and far between. It is a lovely place though and very countryside-y.
