ONE AND ALL

John Green PARR
« on: Saturday 14 May 05 11:35 BST (UK) »

Hi
This is a bit of a long shot but I wonder if anybody can help with the birth records of a John Green .According to the 1861 census he was born around 1829 in Suffolk.
Ancestry gives the birth place as Witstow , and the viewed image does look like that , but I can not find any record of that as a place name .
    Any ideas would appreciated

Hi  Valda & Jan
I have looked through your findings and put together with the 1861 census record for John Green , where he is living with his brother George who is given as being born in Margaretting. I would guess that Thomas and Fanny moved from West Stow to Margaretting . John Green is my G G Grandfather.
Thanks to both of you for your time and help

I saw George on the 1861 census which was why I sent the 1861 census entry for Fanny. Despite her place of birth on the 1871 census I think this is her.

1871 census RG10 1666 folio 11  Galwood End Great Baddow  Essex
Fanny Green 1800  N K, Hertfordshire, Head Widow
with two lodgers
