Hello,

A fellow rootschatter (thanks Nicky!) found my Hunt family in 1841 residing at
Brahmes Hall, Wethringsett.

On www.multimap.co.uk it is still there just the east of Wetheringsett.

However, Googling it provides no useful information apart from some contemporary links promoting it as some kind of conference centre.

Are there any local experts with knowledge of Brahmes/Brames Hall history ??

Hello Jonathan

It is not mentioned in Pevsner's Buildings of England -  Suffolk, so if the building survives, it was not considered worthy of note in 1961.  It is also not listed as a "Seat" in Suffolk in the Whites Directory of 1855, or in the Whites 1855 narrative of Wetheringsett.
