1861 /1871 census for Cleator Moor.
« on: Wednesday 11 May 05 14:37 BST (UK) »

Could someone with the 1861/1871 census for Cleator Moor do a look up for me.

I am trying to find my Gr Gr Grandparents.  John Graham and his family.
John would be around 40  on the 1861 census, and was born at Arthuret/Longtown  area's,  (Iron Miner) his wife was called Jane also born around the Longtown area .
There son John would be around 10 on the 1861 census.  Born Rockcliff, Longtown
There could be  a daughter Mary around 12 years. Born Longtown.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

There are just too many with the family name around. Can't find the family group in '61.

Thank you for looking for my Gr Gr Grandparents at Cleator Moor on the 1861 census
I  don't know when the family moved from the Longtown area.
Yes there were a lot of John Graham's around at that time which makes it hard to trace them.
