Hi,

I now have the Birth Certificate of Hannah Wade and her Mother is Ann Isern.

What would be my next step. I am aware the records are not so informative past 1837. Any tips?

Thanks

Alison

I have had a play on ancestry again and still can't pickup the Wades on any census other than 1841, apart from some of Hannah's siblings who are working as servants.

As John William Wade appears to have been the witness to daughter Ann's marriage in 1854, what is the address on Hannah's birth certificate as it would be worth checking to see if they are there in 1851?

I just wonder if they were in St George in the East and it may just be missing, I've a missing family who were in that district but cannot be located on the 1851 census at all.  Sadly it's the only census that would indicate what the mother's birthplace was as she died before 1861.  Typical really, I'm assuming there are missing pages for that district. Roll Eyes

There is an ancestry private tree, I'm assuming it's not yours, that lists Ann Isern as being born in 1808 in Islington, I just wonder where this information was from?  It appears to be an active account so it may be worth you contacting them.

1854 wedding address was 25 Bethnal green Road. In 1851 there was what looks like a David Cornell an Ironmonger , his wife Ellen & Family.

Can not find a 52 Rickard? Street in 1851 but there was a 52 Richard Street St.George in the East.
Occupants - Caroline & Jane Robson unmarried sisters and a visitor John Manning(s)?
