Hello
This is my first post to this list.
I am looking for any Rance's or Harvey's around the Great Marlow area.
My ggrandfather Thomas Rance moved with about 3 of his brothers, James, John and William to the area, they were all brickmakers.
Thomas married Emily Harvey and had around 6 children,
Thomas Henry,
Louise Sarah,
William John,
Rose Emily,
Jinnie,
Ernest
Emily Harvey was the daughter of William and Sarah living in Marefield Cottages, Great Marlow.
Thomas moved back to Wokingham in Berkshire after Emily's death in 1896 and had yet another family with his 2nd wife.
Do these names mean anything to anyone at there.
