Dynne to Denn
« on: Wednesday 23 June 04 22:17 BST (UK) »

Hi everyone, looking for information on a Mr Robert Denn, (1758-1828). Parents were Thomas Denn (b 1723) and Hannah Vincent. It appears he resided at Brandon Hall in Norfolk at his death. Is there still a Brandon Hall in Norfolk. In my limited web searches I can only get references to a Suffolk location.

Second part to my question is on Henry Dynne (1538-1586) of Heydon. There appears to be a link (with limited information on my family tree) between these two men but I am confused on the Surname change (Dynne to Denn).

Any help would be great.

Kind regards
James

Hi James,

I have rellies from Brandon and it is right on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk.

On some documents it says Suffolk and on others it says Norfolk.

I have seen reference to Brandon Hall before.

The website below has lots of information about Brandon.
