Hi saz,
there is a reference to this book in a Belfast Telegraph article but I think you will need to subscribe ( 50p ) to read it.

Hello Saz,
Brian M. Walker's book about Sentry Hill mentions the "Carnmoney Stud Book." Googling for the book led me to this thread. Have you done a great deal of trawling through the "Carnomney Stud Book" ?
William McKinney was a keen genealogist. He saved the BMD records of the Carnmoney Prespyterian Church from being destroyed and from these documents he produced histories of most of the families in the area.

PRONI Refs for the stud books are T1013/1-3.
A copy of them is on LDS Microfilm 0258610.
They used to be available as gedcom db 3128225 at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ . [Now removed - presumably for copyright reasons.]
Although W.F. McKINNEY used the church records as the basis of his research, he supplemented the information considerably through talks with the locals. [e.g. "Emigrated to America", "Died young", etc.]
The present-day "Mr. McKINNEY", appearing in full 19thC garb during the special event days at Sentry Hill, claims to know even more about the genealogy of the locals then he, "himself", did back then!
