hi karenlee so am i to aume prudence mcpherson maiden name was tarlling ,i have looked on 1861 census but cannot find tarrling mentioned ,

Whenever a second christian name appears like that it is possible that it has familial connections .... but there was another son whose middle name was GRAY, which could also be an indicator of Prudences' surname.  Then again either name could have no familial relationship at all.  It was merely an observation and a lead to follow up on in case it helped you find her before her marriage.  Unfortunately that appears not to be the case, so back to the drawing board.

hi and thanks for the reply, i found a marriage in b.m.d for a prudence mcpherson in 1898 1c 708 . but no spouse mentioned , if this is the same prudence i am researching it would mean she was 77 at time of marriage if she was born 1821 battle sussex , very confusing to say the least

need help finding a d.o.b for james reed liverpool lancashire married a mary gough /goff d.o.b 1780. married 4th june 1802  st nicolas liverpool ,
they were parents to james reed d.o.b 1805 and william reed d.o.b 1806 liverpool ,
