Wow, wow, wow!
Thank you very much! It helps me incredibly. When it says car owner, Tipperary - is that Martin Gleeson's occupation in Tipperary - like a chauffeur, or taxi service?
Were there any McCormack's in Adare that you saw? Is Adare a section of its own on the census? I noticed you were researching McCormack's- do any of your have British Military History? That's how I was able to link these families.
Thank you tremendously, I sincerely appreciate your time.

His occupation was car owner and he was born in Tipperary. Yes it would have been like a taxi service, as you probably know at the time a "car" was a carriage as there were no auto mobiles in Limerick at that time. Adare will take longer to check as it is a rather large area so I will have to set aside an hour or two to look but I will get to it (eventually) My McCormack's are all from Dublin.

Sorry about the delay, only made it back to the library today. Glenameade is under Pallaskenry but unfortunately the reel that its on is missing. Like I said in an earlier post in this thread I'm not sure if they are just missing from the library or missing altogether. The archivist said that they never received a copy of the reels.

Hi Sharon,
I'm trying to trace the movements of my grandfather's family. My great grandfather, John Ryan was a station master and because of his job the family moved around a lot. I've been able to verify that they lived in Bruree, Co. Limerick and Emly, Co. Tipperary and now I've just discovered that they may also have been living in Kilmallock at the time of the 1901 Census.
I've been able to discover that the Railway Station in Kilmallock is situated in the townland of Gortboy so I think that's the first place you need to look in your search. The Ryan family consisted of :
Father: John Ryan (station master) Mother:Bridget Ryan Sons: Michael, Thomas(my grandfather), Edmond, John, James Daughters: Anne, Mary
I'd be very grateful if you could also supply me with their places of birth.
Thanks,
Orla

Sharon: I would appreciate two lookups. The first is Richard Collins in 1901 in Abbeyfeale, county Limerick. The second is Bridget Collins in 1911 in Abbeyfeale. Thanks in advance for your help. Tom

Happy new Year Sharon. If your offer of free look ups for Limerick is still current, would you mind having a look for PATRICK MEADE in Limerick his age would be 58 approx, married also, name of wife unknown. Address unfortunately unknown. Many thanks in advance
