"42 James Street" Belfast no 3 need advice please

hi everyone

Need to know is there anyway of finding out who lived at this address in 1889 not just the head of household

James or Alexander Porter could have been head of house but would like to know who else lived at this address also if James still lived there after Alexander died in 1889.etc etc

Can anyone help please

Interestingly 1912 for that address shows no signatories - obviously not considered "acceptable" for vote!!! Not very "PC" in those days then!!! Grin

I was digging through my research from last June's PRONI visit when I looked up the directories for 42 James Street.
I forgot to mention this last summer........
1884 Mrs Neil
1886 Vacant (W Porter  Labourer at No.56)
1901 James Porter's last year
1902  Gone!
Perhaps James died around 1901-02?
