1841 Census Chesham, Bucks
« on: Saturday 14 May 05 07:29 BST (UK) »

Hello
I am trying to locate Jacob Eggleton and Ann Eggelton and their father George in Chesham, Buckinghamshire in the 1841 census.
Jacob would be aged about 6, and his sister Ann, aged about 10 in 1841 and their  father was George Eggleton. His occupation was 'Labourer'  (in marriage Certificate for Jacob).

If anybody has the 1841 perhaps they could help me out of a dead end?

bram,

I will re-check PR's for Jacob and sister Ann later in the week, to see if that will give any clues as to there where abouts  in Chesham, as I said before, Chesham was quite a big place even in 1841.
If I can find a location, I will then try and check 1841 for you

Bram,

I have now re-checked the PR's for Chesham 1820 - 1845 and I cannot find Ann, Jacob or indeed, any  Eggleton's. This means there are no clues to help find them on the 1841.
Sorry

Hi Kay
Thanks for all that effort, sorry that you had no luck, they must have been some where else obviously on the day of the census. I will have to think about that one!
Pity that they are not in the IGI Family Search, I will go and recheck them anyway.
Thanks for all your assistance Kay at least now I know where they were not!
Best Wishes,

Bram
