Still Family
« on: Saturday 14 May 05 10:02 UTC (UK) »

Hi

Im looking for information on the Still family who came from Drumblade to Boyndie in Banff.

Im as far back as Robert Still who married Margaret Sim in Banff on 06/12/1822 and went on to have 12 children one of whom, Andrew Longmore Still was my ggg grandfather b 01/04/1844 in Culbenchly, Banff.

Any information on any of the Still side of the family would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Macduff

Hi Macduff,  I may not be able help you but you may be able to help me.

In 1846 Jessie Longmore was born to a Andrew Longmore and Isabella Craib.  Jessie married an Alexander Still, and I only have found one child so far a George Still born 1889.  Jessie died 1913 Culbeuchly Cottage Banff.

Having the name Longmore as the second name I thought there may be a connection somewhere.  Karen

Hello Macduff

I don't think I'm going to be of much help to you as you probably have more than i on these. Margaret Sim was my gt gt gt grandmothers sister ( Mary Sim)
