Well Chatters,

What a day I have had.  Roll Eyes
As some of you may know, I think of nothing about jumping into my wee fiat and taking off from one end of Scotland to the other.   8)However, I have kinda changed my routes these days as I discover my Granmas side of the family.  This morning I decided to go to Birtley Cemetry and see what I could find....Well I did find a Goodfellow grave and took my picky.  I was speaking to a very nice man Called Allan Selkirk.  Cheesy I was explaining my problem to him and how I was looking for two in particular, my gt grandmother Mary Ellen Goodfellow and Violet Goodfellow my granmas twin sister.  He said just follow me to my 'office'.  He made a couple of phone calls asking a couple of questions for me.  While he was doing that, I was taking in my surroundings...in his 'office'  Shocked I asked him if this was one of 'those' Shocked, he said ah ha....I said , well I thought maybe you did all that after office hours....he said nay bonny lass...one of them takes an hour and a half Shocked    anyway,He said that the cemetry did not open until 1925 and I will need to contact St Johns and ask there.  But I just thought that you would like to share in my latest escapade....he was a lovely man and very helpful and I suppose that we forget that some one has to do this work...... Shocked
