Suffolk Resources? pre 1837
« on: Saturday 14 May 05 14:00 UTC (UK) »

Are there other resources other than those listed in links, etc. for family history studies in Suffolk?  Is there centralized program like Hertsfordshire's HALS?  What other options are available that are not expensive yet reputable?   I am unable to come in person and need some direction in locating records in England specifically Hadleigh, Ipswich areas.  My gggrandfather, Richard TRICKER, was b. c1818 in Tuddenham.  I would like to locate records regarding Richard and his father William.  Richard was a shoemaker and his father a Master(looked like Malster on certificate!) Thank you for your assistance and suggestions!!!

The Suffolk Record Office offers a look up service.

They also sell a great many of the surviving parish registers, including Tuddenham on microfiche at a reasonable cost.
