Theophillus and Elizabeth PLENTY
« on: Sunday 15 May 05 23:02 BST (UK) »

I am looking for the families of Theophillus and Elizabeth Plenty [nee Pursey].Theo was born at Tauton, and Elizabeth at Walton. their children were Edwin, John Francis, Josephus Albion, Charles and Maud.
Josephus and Albion went to America sometime after 1871, Maud married Henry Tinney and moved to Paddington, Charles lived at Keinton Mandeville, one of his sons Francis Roe was a teacher in Essex [I think]
Charles married Emily ? and his children were William Charles, Francis Roe, Harry [or Henry], Amy Elizabeth, Frederick John and Albert Edward.
Not to sure of any of the others, so hope someone can help.

Many thaks for replying. I have the family on the 1851 census, and I think both ELizabeth and Thephillus died sometome between 1851 ans 61, as on the 61 census the 2 younger children were with a Charles Plenty who I assume was their uncle. Maud was married to Henry Tinney and in Paddington on the 1901 census and Charles was at Keinton Mandeville, as I said Josephus and Albion moved to America, I have found them mentioned on the American and Canadian census on 1880, but nothing more. The others? I am not sure.
