I am trying to locate the following people in the 1841 and 1851 censuses. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thomas (aged 28 in 1851 and 18 in 1841) and Sarah Ann Allcard (nee Wharmby, aged 25 in 1851 and 15 in 1841). Thomas was born in Ardwick, Lancashire and, in 1861, was a butcher. Sarah Ann was born in Stockport.
In 1861 they were living in Hulme Manchester, with 5 children, only one of whom (whose name I cannot read) would have been alive in 1851.
Thomas was the son of John Allcard, a farmer, and Sarah Ann Wharmby the daughter of Samuel Wharmby, a publican, who I have as living at Lord Street, Stockport in an 1841 directory of Manchester.
I can only help with the Cheshire 1841 census, it looks as if Sarah A married Thomas in Prestwich 1849 so would suggest the family had moved to that area by 1851. Sarah's father was not found in Stockport in 1851 nor were any of the Allcards.
