I came into some information about William McMurchy. I hope the spelling is correct. I show that he was born abt. 1720 and died abt. 1780. The name was changed in our branch to Murphy. The next record I have is of one of his sons, Thomas. He died in North Carolina. I am trying to find out when he went to the US and any more information regarding William McMurchy's parents, grandparents, etc. Any info would be greatfully appreciated.
