I recently got a will and one of the places mentioned was a Woodhall nr. Campton.

Does anybody know this place please.

Hi Diane,
It sometimes helps perhaps if you type into google,any areas you might not be sure of.
Try both names or one at a time.
Ive found lots of places like this,some I have never heard of.

Have tried so far nothing.

Also just tried the Old Maps link on an earlier topic.

Hopefully somebody may have seen/heard it at some point.

Also wondered if it may be the name of a house??

Just tried it again on google and another load of links came up, one from a defra site which looks promising.

Found a map on a Defra site, now a conservation walk. Called Woodhall Farm, I guess that must be it.

Strange how when I put it in before nothing came up anything like that. Still got there in the end.

It's in Bedfordshire seems to be a farm in Campton.

Lucky really as it's now part of  a conservation walk on the Defra site. That never came up when I tried before. Got a map from it too!
