Louth in the 1850s
« on: Monday 28 June 04 00:36 UTC (UK) »

My g g grandfather had his first child in Louth in 1853. I am aware he later served in the army in Preston, Lancs. He was originally from Bath. I'm trying to figure out why he would have been living in Louth. Would anyone know if there was an army installation there in the 1850s?
