hi just to say i have not enjoyed looking at pubs so much as this.i grew up in felling gateshead.(im sadly not in the north now)so this site was brill.thanks.

I wonder if there is any photos of pubs in Whitehaven, there used to be hundreds, Well about 80

Lets think:

The Albion Scotch St, Albion Hotel King St, Anchor Vaults Ginns, Anchor Vaults Market Place (the last one I got into a fight in), Anchor Inn George St ............. Whittington Cat Lowther St, and so on... I see a project here

I still like looking at them from the inside, preferably through a glass
