Can any one help?
We are trying to research our family tree, to which we know that there are connections to the surnames of Norris, Johnson and Lang, within the Brixham and Totnes areas. The person that we have in our tree is an
Annie Elizabeth Johnson Norris b. 1874 Brixham.
Her mother was a Rhoda Lang Johnson b. abt 1843 in Ramsgate/ Thanet, Kent, although we believe that her family originated from the Brixham area.
Her father was a Charles Norris b. abt 1844 Brixham.
If any one can help with any information about her ascendants or descendants, then I'd be very gratefull for any information.

Hi,
In the information that you gave in your posts, you said that there was an Elizabeth Johnson aged 16 b. Brixham in the 1851 census, living with Rhoda and her parents. Do you know where and who she was residing with in the 1841 census? As she doesn't appear in the information that you have given for her parents in this census.
Also do you know where Charles' parents, William and Sarah Norris, where in the 1841 census and who else was residing with them.
Would very much appreciate this help.

There seem to be two Charles Norris born abt the same time, here is another one for the 1861 census, they are mentioned above for the 1851 entry

Have you got Charles & Rhoda's marriage cert? That would confirm who his father was, John or William Norris.
